A new funding opportunity for innovative collaborative projects is on the horizon. In the coming weeks, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism is expected to launch the call for proposals under the Innovative Business Groups (AEI) Support Programme.
This programme aims to enhance the competitiveness of Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through cooperation by supporting initiatives that promote digital transformation, sustainability, and collaborative innovation across our industries.
The funding is structured into several categories, including technical feasibility studies, innovation projects, and strategic collaborative projects. It is intended for innovative business groups (AEIs), technology partners, and SMEs working together to address high-impact challenges.
The funding intensity depends on the type of entity, ranging from 50% to 80% of eligible project costs.
