Its main feature is that it has unique facilities for research and rental for stratospheric flight testing with High Altitude Pseudo-Satellites (HAPS). Its goal is to develop a HAPS center (stratport) at the Teruel Airport site for launching satellites into the stratosphere to monitor atmospheric gas emissions, among other environmental activities.
